But LG has just pushed the boundaries of mobile phone innovations by introducing a handset with transparent keyboard, the LG Crystal or LG GD900.

Yes, transparent. You read that right. Now if that is not truly astounding for a mobile phone, we don’t know what is.

When you look at the LG GD900 without sliding out the keypad, you will think that there is nothing extra special about it. In fact, you might think that it looks a bit like other LG handsets. But the keyboard of the LG Crystal does not only look cool, it is also touch sensitive. Now, we admit that the transparent part does not add any function  to the whole handset. It just gives the mobile phone that air of undeniable “coolness.” Still, the keypad of this LG slide phone is touch sensitive, allowing you to navigate your phone menu through hand gestures. Of course, it also allows you to type messages and numbers.
